“He Stretched Out His Hand Over The Sea. He Shook The Kingdoms"

Reference: Isaiah Chapter 23

Let your kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven. His kingdom has come. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is the entry point to this kingdom. God is not destroying kingdoms for the sake of destroying, but to point them to the true kingdom, the one kingdom. The kingdom that was coming then and has now come when Jesus brought that kingdom of God to earth. The first kingdom began in the first Adam. He was the head of the kingdom, and when he broke his covenant with God, his kingdom fell apart. So did every seed of blood that was in him. The first Adam forfeited the kingdom to Satan. Satan is the head of all the kingdoms of the world. The second Adam had to come and take the kingdom, not from the first Adam but from the hands of Satan. Many men and women have tried to build kingdoms under the power of Satan, but those kingdoms could not stand. The kingdom of Satan has now become the kingdom of our God in Christ.

Revelation 11:15 "And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever."

The new kingdom has come, established in the blood of the second Adam, for men to exit the first kingdom into this new kingdom by faith in the finished work of the second Adam on the cross of Christ.

The destruction of the kingdom of Tyre.

Isaiah writes, let's read:

Isaiah 23:1-5 "The burden of Tyre. Howl, ye ships of Tarshish; for it is laid waste, so that there is no house, no entering in: from the land of Chittim it is revealed to them. [2] Be still, ye inhabitants of the isle; thou whom the merchants of Zidon, that pass over the sea, have replenished. [3] And by great waters the seed of Sihor, the harvest of the river, is her revenue; and she is a mart of nations. [4] Be thou ashamed, O Zidon: for the sea hath spoken, even the strength of the sea, saying, I travail not, nor bring forth children, neither do I nourish up young men, nor bring up virgins. [5] As at the report concerning Egypt, so shall they be sorely pained at the report of Tyre."

Just like the destruction of Egypt, so shall Tyre be captured by the Babylonians. The warning was clear, and the word of God was fulfilled. The gospel warning is clear today, and the word of God shall be fulfilled. It's only one kingdom that will stand. It is the Kingdom established in the blood of the second Adam. No religion, culture, ethnicity, nation, or continent shall stand outside the blood of the second Adam. God is gathering His people into His blood.

We continue our reading:

Isaiah 23:6-9 "Pass ye over to Tarshish; howl, ye inhabitants of the isle. [7] Is this your joyous city, whose antiquity is of ancient days? her own feet shall carry her afar off to sojourn. [8] Who hath taken this counsel against Tyre, the crowning city, whose merchants are princes, whose traffickers are the honourable of the earth? [9] The LORD of hosts hath purposed it, to stain the pride of all glory, and to bring into contempt all the honourable of the earth."

Religion is the pride of man. Worshipping something outside the one true God. Worshipping things made with their hands. God is making it clear: the problem of man is blood, the corrupted blood of Adam, the first Adam, of whom every man ot woman is a seed. The solution is the shed blood of the second Adam. Man and woman in pride resist to exit the blood of the first Adam into the blood the second Adam, hence their ultimate destruction.

We continue our reading:

Isaiah 23:10-11 "Pass through thy land as a river, O daughter of Tarshish: there is no more strength. [11] He stretched out his hand over the sea, he shook the kingdoms: the LORD hath given a commandment against the merchant city, to destroy the strong holds thereof."

He shook the kingdoms then and will be shaking the kingdoms now. Every nation shall hear about the blood of the second Adam, and it will be a clear warning to exit the blood of the first Adam. Those who remain in the blood of the first Adam will be to their destruction.

We continue our reading:

Isaiah 23:12-15 "And he said, Thou shalt no more rejoice, O thou oppressed virgin, daughter of Zidon: arise, pass over to Chittim; there also shalt thou have no rest. [13] Behold the land of the Chaldeans; this people was not, till the Assyrian founded it for them that dwell in the wilderness: they set up the towers thereof, they raised up the palaces thereof; and he brought it to ruin. [14] Howl, ye ships of Tarshish: for your strength is laid waste. [15] And it shall come to pass in that day, that Tyre shall be forgotten seventy years, according to the days of one king: after the end of seventy years shall Tyre sing as an harlot."

Seventy years of Babylonian captivity, but in the coming great tribulation, there will not be a restoration of any kingdom, just like the time of Noah. The only people that lived were those in the ship. Everybody else drowned in hell, so shall it be in the great tribulation: only those in the blood of the second Adam shall find refuge. Everybody else will enter into hell's darkness.

We conclude our reading:

Isaiah 23:16-18 "Take an harp, go about the city, thou harlot that hast been forgotten; make sweet melody, sing many songs, that thou mayest be remembered. [17] And it shall come to pass after the end of seventy years, that the LORD will visit Tyre, and she shall turn to her hire, and shall commit fornication with all the kingdoms of the world upon the face of the earth. [18] And her merchandise and her hire shall be holiness to the LORD: it shall not be treasured nor laid up; for her merchandise shall be for them that dwell before the LORD, to eat sufficiently, and for durable clothing."

Those who turn and hear the word of God and exit the blood of the first Adam shall be holiness unto the Lord. They shall be called the people of God.

Turn to the word of God, BELIEVE and confess Christ, the second Adam, as we've revealed him from the first Adam. Two kingdoms: the kingdom of the first Adam and the kingdom of the second Adam. Only one kingdom stands, in Christ!
