“The Power Of Satan, The Power of Faith, The Power of God”

Reference: Psalms Chapter 30

Satan has power over man because of sin. The greatest power Satan is death.

The power of Satan is the reason for every cemetery, every disease, every hospital, every starving child, every turmoil, and every nuclear weapon.

It was through the power of Satan that Cain killed Abel. Satan knowing that righteous Abel was an arm of God sought to kill him and succeeded. Satan blinded the eyes of the world that only Noah and his family escaped the flood.
Satan tried to kill Joseph. He tried to kill Moses. He killed all the prophets. He successfully beheaded John the Baptist.
When Jesus was born, Satan made a decree to kill all the young children. He was not successful. He could not kill Jesus as a child but successfully placed Him on a cross. Satan killed Jesus.

The greatest power of Satan is death. Satan brought death to every man or woman including Adam and Eve. Every person that will die today is because of Satan.

Faith has power.
The power of faith is greater than death. The power of Satan is death but the power of faith is resurrection. Satan will bring death but faith brings resurrection.

John 11:25-26 “Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: [26] And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?”

Jesus Christ is the resurrection. He that has received Jesus Christ by faith shall never die just as Christ can never die.
Through faith, Enoch was translated, and did not see death. Elijah through faith was ruptured in a whirlwind. Through faith Moses stood on the mount of Transfiguration about eight hundred years after his death.

The power of God.
Who created the earth out of nothing?
Who created man out of the dust of the earth?
Who wakes up the sun every morning and tuck it to be bed every night?
Who gives the sun its light, and where does that light come from?
Who calls the stars in the sky every night?
Who can part the sea, shut the mouth of hungry lions, and quench the fire of a furnace?
Who put color in the flowers.
Who gave eternal life? And where does eternal life come from?

The power of God the Holy Spirit. The power that moved over the earth, created trees, flowers, seas, and rivers out of nothing.
The power that raised Jesus from the dead. The same power that has kept the believer from death.

David writes ‘ His favor is life.”

Let’s read:

Psalm 30:1-3 “I will extol thee, O LORD; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me. [2] O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me. [3] O LORD, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.”

Satan will bring every man or woman to the grave.
Faith brings every man or woman who believes out of the grave.

We continue our reading:

Psalm 30:4-5 “Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness. [5] For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.”

Weeping may endure through death but joy comes through resurrection. Faith is more powerful than death. Faith is more powerful than Satan.

We conclude our reading:

Psalm 30:6-12 “And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved. [7] LORD, by thy favour thou hast made my mountain to stand strong: thou didst hide thy face, and I was troubled. [8] I cried to thee, O LORD; and unto the LORD I made supplication. [9] What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth? [10] Hear, O LORD, and have mercy upon me: LORD, be thou my helper. [11] Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness; [12] To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.”

Death is for a moment but eternal life is forever. It comes by faith in Christ the Eternal Life.

By faith, David is in the presence of God today, and will give thanks forever.

Let faith overcome every death. BELIEVE in Christ the resurrection as we’ve revealed Him from the First Adam. Faith overcome all disease, death, and even Satan, in Christ!
