“Delivered From All Things”

Reference: Psalms Chapter 34

Faith has delivered the true believer from all things. Not some things but ALL things.

Faith has delivered the believer from unbelief which is the sin.

John 3:18 “He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”

He that believes not (unbelief) is the sin. He or she is condemned already.

Sin therefore is not lying, cheating, and stealing. We do those things because we believe not the Word of God.

Faith has delivered the believer from every sin, disease, and even death. Faith has delivered the believer from every scheme of Satan.

Jesus Christ defeated Satan not with power but with the Word.

Matthew 4:4,7,10 “But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. [7] Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. [10] Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.”

It is written.
It is written.
It is written.

The Word of God defeats Satan in any arena.

Faith placed exclusively in the Word of God delivers the believer from all things.

The child of God in Christ therefore has the praise of God in their mouth continually because they are delivered.

David writes.

Let’s read:

Psalm 34:1-4 “I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. [2] My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. [3] O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together. [4] I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.”

The child of God in Christ is ALREADY delivered from all things including fear.

If the child of God in Christ asks the Lord to deliver them, the Word of the Lord responds that He has ALREADY delivered when He hanged on the Cross. The individual simply has to accept they have been delivered, by simply believing (faith), else they are in unbelief (sin).  This is the cause of many anxiety, depression, frustration, and failure in believers.

We continue our reading:

Psalm 34:5-6 “They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed. [6] This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.”

The Lord has ALREADY saved us from troubles in the past and every trouble in the future. He has saved us from ALL our troubles.

We continue our reading:

Psalm 34:7-9 “The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them. [8] O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him. [9] O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.”

There is no WANT for the child of God in Christ.

Psalm 23:1 “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.”

Everything the child of God in Christ needed was provided when Jesus Christ hanged on the Cross.
The child of God in Christ has been delivered from all wants. They only live to give Christ, the giver and sustainer of all needs, to others.

We continue our reading:

Psalm 34:10-19 “The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing. [11] Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD. [12] What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good? [13] Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile. [14] Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it. [15] The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry. [16] The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. [17] The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. [18] The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. [19] Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.”

Delivered not just from some afflictions but ALL afflictions (past, present, and future)

Oh glory!!

We conclude our reading:

Psalm 34:20-22 “He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken. [21] Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate. [22] The LORD redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.”

None shall be desolate as long as our faith is placed in the Lord.

Let faith be placed in the ALREADY finished work of Christ. BELIEVE and confess Christ the Word as we’ve revealed Him from the First Adam. Faith has delivered us from ALL things, in Christ!
